Treatment of Facial Wrinkles 

When used in the correct dose to the correct facial muscle, the target muscles relaxes, so we can achieve the goal of reducing excessive facial expressions that leads to folds and wrinkles. Useful for frown region to look more relaxed or forehead lines to look less worried. 

Usual longevity is around three months, with TGA approved 1 new product that may last up to 6 months.

We can also use this treatment to improve symptoms related to jaw clenching and teeth grinding by weakening the masseter muscles.

Other areas commonly treated include reducing the vertical neck bands, bunny lines on the nose and crows feet around the eyes.  By strategically treating the jawline using muscle relaxants, it is also possible to reduce the downward pull of the platysma muscle of the neck, so the entire face looks slightly "lifted".
