Did you know in Australia, in 2026 the TGA has approved a number of injectable products that can now stimulate both collagen and elastin?

All of these products are S4 injectable products that require doctor's prescription, hence we are unable to provide you with specific product names or prices.  Here I will explain one of the new products to Australia in 2026.

How do these products work?

One of the new products available since March 2026 is a "Bio-Regenerating" skin booster which has been shown to stimulate the production of not just Collagen Types 1 & 3, but Types 4 & 7 collagen, as well as elastin.  

What is the active ingredient?

The main active ingredients includes a proprietary ratio of amino acids (specifically for the production of collagen and elastin) mixed with water binding sugar cane molecules similar to products currently used to treat wrinkles and folds. 

What is the difference between traditional gel products and this Bio-Regenerating / Bio-Remodelling Skin Treatments?

This product does not provide contour or "lift" results.  Instead this is considered a skin booster with a long term improvement in the skin quality, texture and elasticity.  

How many treatments are required?

This depends on the condition of skin, and the age of the patient.  In general, the recommendation is 3 treatments, 2-3 weeks apart for someone who has never been treated and afterwards, maintain with 1 treatment every few months.  Older skin may need more treatments.  Commonly this type of bio-regenerating skin booster is often combined with other treatments to enhance your other facial features or to contour your face. 

Obviously there are other skin boosters on the market at different price points and longevity for you to choose from.
