Blepharoplasty Eyelid Rejuvenation Surgery
People communicate with their eyes and your eyes are often the first feature people look at on your face. Unfortunately the eyes are often the first feature to show signs of ageing, hence surgery to improve this area can often make a person look more alert, lively and youthful. Blepharoplasty is the procedure to consider for anyone who have heavy hooded eyelids and this may also involve the removal of the fat pads around the eyelid skin.
The procedure can be done under local anaesthestics with or without sedation.
Fee guide: Upper eyelid surgery $2500 (local anaesthestics). Please make consultation with Doctor for assessment (additional fees if General Anaesthestics is required as it will be performed at another hospital facility). Lower eyelid surgery $3500.
The incisions are made in the crease as inconspiciously as possible and closed with very fine sutures. In the lower eyelid, the sutures are placed just below the eyelashes in the natural crease of the lid.

Blepharoplasty will not change the position of the eyebrow, sometimes a separate procedure for the eyebrows may be required depending on the expectations and desires of the patient.
