Cellulite Reduction & Non Surgical Buttock (Butt) Lift

At The Cosmetic Laser & Skin Cancer Centre, we specialise in a range of non surgical treatments to help reduce cellulite and create lift effect using a combination of collagen stimulation injections and Laser Tightening treatments.

What is Cellulite:  Cellulite looks like dimpled, lumpy skin.  This appearance is the result of fibrous connective cords that tether the skin to the underlying muscle, with the fat lying between. As fat cells accumulate, they push up against the skin, while the long, tough cords pull down. This creates an uneven surface or dimpling.

To reduce the appearance of cellulite, we need to reduce the fibrous connective cords which tether the skin to the underlying muscle.

Cellulite Reduction & Buttock Lift Non Surgically:

How: Using a special dissection technique to disrupt and release the connective cords which tether the skin to the underlying muscles, followed by collagen stimulation injections (multi-layer technique), and fine tuning the result using Laser Tightening program at planned intervals (the laser treatments are usually performed about 4 weeks after collagen stimulating injections because collagen producing cells are most active at that time).

Goal: Lift, shape and enhance the appearance of the buttock.  Reducing the “dimpling” appearance of cellulite and strengthing the skin.

Who is suitable: This procedure is suitable for those patients who do not have enough fat for fat transfer procedures, or simply not wishing to have fat transfer procedure because of higher costs and risks involved.  This procedure will give a more natural and subtle result, although the volume increase is less than fat transfer method.  Also appearance of cellulite is generally improved with this treatment.

Anaesthesia:  This procedure can be safely and easily performed under local anaesthestics and each component of this procedure takes only 30 to 60 minutes to perform.

Downtime: Initial swelling, bruising to be expected after fat layer dissection and collagen stimulating injections and bruise may last a week or so. Generally the down time is much less than fat transfer and overall cause limited disruption to most people’s lives.

Longevity: Semi-permanent (may require multiple treatments).  Individual results may vary, depending on severity of cellulite and skin quality.

Risks:  Pain, bruising, swelling, infection, plus risks associated with Lasers.

Costs:  Consultation fee is $65.  All patients must be assessed by Dr Wong prior to treatment. Cost of treatment may vary, depends on size of area requiring treatment.
