Dr. Chi Hong Wong
Dr. Wong from The Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Cancer Centre graduated from The University of Queensland in 1993. He gained his surgical experience from working in many different surgical specialties between 1994 – 2001 in various Queensland Hospitals. He has many years experience in different types of cosmetic procedures, both surgical and non surgical. He started cosmetic procedures training in 2002. He has over 20 years skin cancer cosmetic experience.
His main interests includes surgical management of skin cancers, cosmetic mole removal, ear lobe repairs, non surgical facial rejuvenation, the expert use of dermal fillers such as non surgical nose augmentation, expert cosmetic and medical uses of Laser (skin resurfacing and Asian pigmentation management, as well as laser for medical conditions such as musculoskeletal pains and fungal skin and nail conditions).
Dr. Wong completed the Certificate of Emergency and Trauma Management Course in Townsville during his hospital training. He also successfully completed Part 1 of the FRACS (Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) requirements.
He has attended many overseas Cosmetic meetings including AACS conferences in USA, Advanced Workshops in Facial Anatomy in Shanghai, China and Workshops in Asian Blepharoplasty (Asian Eyelid Surgery Training) in Busan, South Korea. Continue medical education is an important component to stay relevant in this rapidly expanding world of cosmetic and laser medicine.
